yay! i am a metal monroe!!

no, i haven’t turned off into a marilyn’s sculpture all made of metal. ha. i just got a new piercing yesterday, on my left upper lip. it’s usually called marilyn (although some call it madonna, ergh), thus the joke. i just absolutely love the way it looks and am pretty satisfied with it. it was done at tattoo company, which is a studio with a great variety of jewellery and a very careful piercer. i got to know them when looking for a new jewel for my four years old navel piercing, which still had the original ring after all these years, and ended up with a gorgeous new navel, pictures to come soon! they are sure worth a visit, unless you really hate heavy metal - i really don’t care what kind of music they listen to if they do their work ok, and they didn’t disappoint me till now.

the curious non-pierced people: yes, of course it hurt. it’s a 14 gauge needle piercing your upper lip, what should you expect? what i can say is that there are a whole lot of things in life that hurt much more and are a hell less worth it.
